Pinoy Pork Steak Recipe

If you have pork in your fridge and is wondering what to do with it, then this Pinoy Pork Steak Recipe would be what I would suggest to do with your pork. During the early days of my marriage, when we have pork in our fridge, I would usually undergo some indecision: to either fry the pork or make it into Adobo. I know, I know, you're probably thinking why the indecision when I only have 2 options but I can still remember how it would feel like to be undergoing a great battle within. Usually I would end up ....  frying the pork. :)

Going back to this Pinoy Pork Steak Recipe, I would suggest you include this in your dish line up because first: all the ingredients are mostly available in your pantry; second: it's like making pork barbecue, only you're going to stew it instead of grilling it and lastly: if you change your mind half way (like some of us do), you can simply hit the grill and make yourself barbecue for dinner.

1. In a container with cover, mix calamansi juice and soysauce.

2. Marinate your pork overnight or atleast an hour, in the fridge.

3.  Fry your pork for 3 minutes per side.

4. After frying all your pork, remove oil from pan and put your pork back in the pan including the marinade and water.

5. Simmer for 45 minutes then add sugar and pepper.

6. Add onions and simmer for 2 minutes. Serve hot and enjoy!
