Oven Toaster Tuna Steak

I love eating grilled fish especially if it's already served on the table and all I have to do is just dig in. I'm not great at grilling because I just don't like the fact that I'd need to sweat it out first in order to taste that aroma on the meat produced when charcoal grilling. I usually leave the grilling to my husband. Good thing there is oven or oven toaster in my case that can help us bake or grill our fish to produce that grease-less fish steak.

This Oven Toaster Tuna Steak is very simple, easy to do and tastes great. You can also use other fish meat like malasugi. All you have to do is marinate the fish for a few minutes then load it in the oven or oven toaster and voila! You can already enjoy a healthy meal. This Oven Toaster Tuna Steak can break the monotony of fried fish or fish stew. So how about that? Wanna try this already? Be ready with your soysauce, calamansi and red chili, this Oven Toaster Tuna Steak is just not complete without this very "Pinoy sawsawan". :)

1.  In a plate, mix your calamansi and olive oil. Also preheat your oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Marinate your tuna for about 5 minutes per side.

3. Mix the pepper, salt and garlic powder on a saucer then rub them on the tuna. Bake for 10 minutes.

If you have an oven toaster, use highest setting to cook tuna steak.

4.  Change your oven setting to broil/grill function and grill for 10 minutes. You can extend the grilling time if you want your Oven Toaster Tuna Steak to have browned edges. Serve hot with your favorite pinoy sawsawan. Enjoy! :)
